CreamofBritish Australian Labradoodles are not members of any Australian or Uk Labradoodle Association. Our endorsement comes from owners of our puppies, many of whom have returned for a second or even a third puppy. Labradoodle Association membership restricts our ability to further develop the Australian Labradoodle. However as reputable breeders we do comply with the UK Labradoodle Association ~ UKLA's Code of Practice for Breeders we
also comply with The Labradoodle Puppy Finder Approved Breeder Scheme.

We specialise in Medium Australian Labradoodles~17-20" and Standard Australian Labradoodles~ 21-23 "Please Note ~ Dogs are measured to the shoulder.

Our dogs and puppies are all reared naturally we feed raw and we do not over vaccinate. Our puppies are born in our house and live as part of our family ensuring that you get a well reared, well socialised, virtually house trained puppy.

Australian Labradoodle Puppies from both sizes occasionally available, Black, Chalk, Chocolate, Gold, Parti (Two colours) Chocolate & White and Black & White, also Phantom, Tuxedo and Merle.

We are located in Hampshire, UK, on the South Coast of Great Britain close to major UK airports and Portsmouth Ferry Terminal, we will deliver to Europe.

Creamofbritish Australian Labradoodles were the first to import ASD Labradoodles in the UK. Our boy 'Rutlands Nirvana' is a maker of history, as the first stud dog to be imported from Rutland Manor, Australia
The Australian Labradoodle is bred purely as a family pet, unlike pedigree dogs who are seperated into breed groups, Gundog, Hound, Pastoral, Terrier, Toy, Utility and Working. Each breed is bred for a specific purpose, if the Labradoodle ever becomes Kennel Club registered it should come under the breed group Family Companion.

The Australian Labradoodle has a joyful temperament, extremely intelligent & intuitive, actively seeking eye contact, gentle & kind, particularly around small children. This endearing quality has brought CreamofBritish Australian Labradoodles into contact with Sandra Geven ~ Maatje met een Staartje. Sandra trains puppies as companions for children with autism, downs syndrome and other special needs and we are extremely proud to have our CreamofBritish Australian Labradoodles help these children both in Holland and the UK.

The Australian Labradoodle coat must not shed or have any doggy odour, they tend to be allergy friendly to the vast majority of people with dog related allergies, however we do not promote our dogs as hypo-allergenic as allergies are too complicated and the breed is still being developed and contrary to what you may believe even some Australian Labradoodles shed. They are not born with this fabulous coat though! look here to see how puppies change.

The Labradoodle was originally bred by Wally Conran in his quest to find a guide dog suitable for people with allergies. You can read Wally Conran's story here. Wally bred Labradoodle Origins (LO) Wally discovered that not all of the offspring produced had the required allergy friendly coat that was so desired and other breeders in Australia including Rutland Manor & Tegan Park continued breeding Labradoodles, determined to produce litters with consistent conformation, coat type, and temperament. During the 90's, a number of other dog breeds were bred into the Labradoodle lines to assist in this effort. Most often the English Cocker Spaniel, American Cocker Spaniel and Irish Water Spaniel were the breeds used, however, it is reported that a few other dog breeds were also introduced into certain lines. Without DNA evidence of these dog breeds we can not be certain exactly what breeds were introduced. The offspring from these matings were then named The Australian Multi Generation Labradoodle and later named the ASD ~ Australian Service Dog by Rutland Manor.

I have also decided to continue to develop the breed further and I am now breeding my own line of non shedding Australian Labradoodles which I have called The CreamofBritish Marbelous Marbles ~ Merle Australian Labradoodles.
I personally find that the nature of the Australian Labradoodle is much calmer than the Labradoodle Origin, the main thing that seperates Labradoodle Origins(LO) from the Australian Labradoodle is the fact that Australian Labradoodles as with pedigree dogs are infused with other breeds and not just a Poodle x Labrador (LO) Labradoodle Origin This is what makes the Australian Labradoodle more consistent in temperament, type and coats, very few pedigree dogs have only two parent breeds.

All of our dogs are hip scored and elbow scored (Standard & Medium) & Optigen tested as an absolute minimum before breeding and all health records are available for inspection.

Thankfully there are conscientious breeders of labradoodles in the Uk who have a true passion for the breed. There are no excuses for not health testing and you must ask to see proof ! Not all breeders are transparent.
